A diagnosis is just identifying what is causing your issue. Cars are complicated machines with lots of interconnected systems. If a check engine light comes on or the car runs poorly, there are lots of different things that could be going wrong. If the check engine light comes on for a cylinder #1 misfire it could have a number of causes: a spark plug, ignition coil, fuel injector, damaged vales, low compression or even a broken wire. Instead of guessing and hoping we fix your problem on the first go, we always start with a diagnosis to ensure we fix it on the first go.

We are happy to preform almost any type of repair. Certain things, like engine swaps or transmission builds, are not done best in a driveway, though. If we think that you would be better served by someone else we are happy to refer you to them. We are not the best shop to rebuild your transmission, but we know a guy who is!
